Insurance Cost Recovery Data Manager (Ventura)
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree and 3+ of related work experience with working knowledge of federal grant programs, specifically FEMA or FHWA programs, including related statutes, regulations, policies and processes. Four years additional industry experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.Minimum of four years consulting and/or industry experience, or experience in state or federal grantor agencies is preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience in insurance (claims, adjusting and policy writing is required.
Prior experience FEMA insurance preferred.
Strong organization skills required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Time Management Skills
Must possess professional proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically strong Excel skills) and the ability to learn project-specific computer systems as needed (specifically SharePoint, Access, and proprietary computer systems).
Experience financial analysis is preferred.
Field experience at the state and/or local level
Must be available for short-term travel to support on-site client needs and extended deployment (e.g., 90+ days) to address client response and long-term recovery needs following emergencies and major disasters
