Information Management Specialist

• Five or more years of experience with a strong preference for consulting experience to the government. 
• Web design and coding experience using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and other tools. 
• Website programming experience using server-side scripting tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Adobe ColdFusion. 
• Experience developing mobile-friendly websites and applications. 
• Experience with content management systems such as Drupal. 
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools like Bootstrap is desirable.
• Experience with DreamWeaver or similar HTML editor is preferable. 
• Experience with customer relationship management systems such as Salesforce and Joomla. 
• Experience developing training content for eLearning systems and other web-based applications. 
• Experience with learning management systems such as SkillSoft and Moodle. 
• Experience developing SharePoint sites, including those used to process data. 
• Graphic design skills and familiarity with multiple software tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. 
• Ability to share and collaborate with a small team of developers as well as subject matter experts and outreach specialists. 
• Experience creating testing plans, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and developing solutions. 
• Good client communication skills, including the ability to lead brainstorming, requirements gathering, and design discussions and meetings; ability to transform client requests into practical solutions. 
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements and experience developing accessible websites. 
• Candidates will be asked to provide examples of websites they have built. Static websites are acceptable, but dynamic (data-driven content, forms, interactive design elements) are desirable.
• Candidate must be fluent in English and able to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. 
• Must be able to manage time well and work on multiple tasks as part of larger project teams. 
• Candidate should be self-motivated and able to take directions and work independently. 
• Consistently strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through required. 
• Strong interpersonal skills, energy, and an enthusiastic collaborator. 
• Ability to remain poised and focused in a fast-paced environment.

B.S. or B.A. in Computer Programming or similar degree, or a degree in a relevant field with coursework in database and/or web-based programming and communications.  Candidate must be able to sit or stand at a desk/computer in an office environment for office-based tasks.  Must have a reliable means of transportation to commute to the Sterling, VA office.
