Humanitarian Health Assistance STTA Expert Arlington, VA

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience working in humanitarian health programs, preferably in emergency or conflict-affected settings.
• Experience working with the USAID Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA) or USAID/BHA in the delivery of humanitarian assistance is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international standards and guidelines for humanitarian health assistance, including Sphere Standards, Minimum Initial Service Package, and WHO Health Cluster approach.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing primary healthcare programs, including infectious disease control, reproductive health, nutrition, and mental health.
• Experience in conducting health needs assessments, data collection, analysis, and/or monitoring and evaluation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
