What we’re looking for:
• BA/BS in Human Resources, or related degree, with background in business-related field, degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience; Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and/or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred but not required.
• Experience using Talent Management Systems, experience with Taleo preferred but not required.
• Very strong organizational and skills and high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations and performance management.
• Previous experience using an HRIS in generating reports and implementing staff changes.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion and integrity.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and sometimes intense work environment.
• Must possess proactive, positive problem-solving skills and be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player.
• Understanding of and skill in applying the principles, practices, and procedures of human resource administration in the areas of recruitment and employment, compensation, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of and skill in interpreting and applying state and federal statues and applicable rules and regulations related to the management of human resources.
• Ability to remain objective in all situations and use discretion at all times.
• The ability to exercise poise, tactfulness, and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.
