Human Health and Accident Consultant
The Human Health and Accident Analysis Consultant will support our ongoing Department of Energy (DOE) and other federal programs in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance around the United States. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to our clients and will have a responsible position in leading teams. This position can be accomplished remotely.

Your Role :
• Develop NEPA compliance strategy for Human Health and Accident Analysis of nuclear-weapons related projects.
• Prepare human health analyses for DOE NEPA documents for nuclear-related projects.
• Prepare accident analyses for DOE NEPA documents for nuclear-related projects.
• Interface with Client Project Managers, government regulators, other contractors and community representatives.
• Work within Tetra Tech business operations to identify and develop new clientele and new lines of business.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of technical work in a part of a major project or in a total project of complex scope.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or Health Physics, is required.
• Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience managing/performing human health and accident analyses for nuclear-related NEPA projects is required.
• Experience and expertise using the MELCOR Accident Consequence Code System (MACCS) and Hotspot model is preferred.
• Experience performing human health impact analysis using the Gen II radiation protection environmental software system a plus.
• Experience performing chemical impact analysis with the ALOHA atmospheric dispersion model a plus.
• Experience preparing safety-basis documents for DOE nuclear facilities a plus.
