Minimum Requirements:

  • A BS or BA degree or higher in Environmental Science, GIS/Geography, Biology, Natural Resources, Marine Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with ESRI’s ArcGIS ArcPro software.
  • Proficiency with ESRI’s ArcGIS Online field data collection applications such as Field Maps, Survey123.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, cartographic map creation, ESRI ArcGIS Software.
  • Experience creating cartographic maps.
  • Experience creating and editing GIS data.
  • Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills.

 

Desired but not Required Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Python, ArcGIS Model Builder, ArcGIS Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst extensions.
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS Portal and ESRI Applications – Web Appbuilder, StoryMap Builder, Experience Builder.
  • Working knowledge of Apple IOS and Android Operating Systems.
  • Working knowledge of critical issues as they pertain to renewable energy and transmission projects.
  • Experience using Visual Studio or similar.
