A qualified candidate for the position of Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer/Manager should have an advanced degree in geotechnical engineering, over 9 years of relevant experience as a geotechnical project engineer and as a project manager, and be a registered civil engineer. The candidate should be proficient in common and advanced geotechnical engineering tasks, including numerical modeling, be enthusiastic, analytical, and possess excellent computer and appropriate written and oral communication skills. The candidate should have advanced numerical modeling skills as well as advanced understanding of geotechnical earthquake engineering and/or unsaturated soils mechanics. A good knowledge and understanding of numerical modeling using Sigma, FLAC, Seep, Quake, EZ Risk, Shake, HELP, UNSATH, LEACHM or similar programs is preferred.
