Geologist/Environmental Engineer
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Geology, Engineering, environmental science, or a related physical science.
0-5 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently and in groups.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply environmental regulations and agency guidance documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel to job sites around Florida, occasionally for multiple days.

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
While performing the duties of this job the employee will frequently work independently or cooperatively as a member of a project team. Typically, the job requires the ability to travel to and work at remote project locations - and periodically to ensure proper completion of field activities - for extended periods of time (potentially 20 days/month). The employee will regularly work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Since we are in Florida and do most of our work here, heat is often an issue. The employee will frequently work with equipment collecting environmental samples which could involve moving earth via shovels or hand augers. The employee will frequently work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and risk of radiation. The noise level is frequently loud. Appropriate safety precautions are always taken to prevent injury due to the working conditions.

- Employment Type: Full-Time.
- Work Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday; occasional extended hours or overtime may be required based on business needs.
