Geologist – Carbon Sequestration
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or another related field.
- 5-10 years of work or research experience related to carbon sequestration, well drilling, upstream oil and gas, or related industry.
- 5-10 years of knowledge and experience with carbon sequestration, well design, geology, field operations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to occasionally climb or balance, stand, walk, kneel, stoop or crouch.
- Ability to operate a computer and learn to operate field/data collection instruments.
- Ability to travel and on occasion with potential for overnight stays.
- A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge or experience with Fluid flow in porous media and injection wells.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
- Experience with numerical modeling, petrophysical analysis/interpretation, well logging, geochemistry, and proposal writing.
