Gender Specialist - Nigeria
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, international development, gender studies, anthropology, sociology, environmental science, energy, or another related field.
- Eight years of GESI analysis and/or implementation experience required.
- Adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with GESI analysis and/or GESI integration within energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Effective organizational, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, while providing strong attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Preferred but Not Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in international affairs, international development, gender studies, anthropology, sociology, environmental science, energy, or another related field.
- Energy sector experience in Nigeria.
- Operations and/or project management experience related to organizing trainings, meetings, or stakeholder engagements.
- Previous experience with USAID.
