Essential KSA's Required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, finance or related field
- 12 years professional experience in the oil/gas sector
- Detailed understanding of competitive wholesale and retail gas markets
- Understanding of wholesale market development, including domestic and cross border trading of physical/financially settled standardized gas contracts
- Practical experience in trading international (European) gas markets and associated spot and derivative products
- Deep understanding of upstream activities and various associated formats for exploration and production of gas
- Demonstrated knowledge of the intricacies of critical infrastructure (transmission and distribution) and developments in infrastructure as an enabler for competitive gas markets
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and presentation skills)
Valued but not required KSA’s:
- Ukrainian gas market experience highly preferred
- Experience working on USAID or other donor-funded projects
- Experience working with/advising public sector gas stakeholders a plus
