Field Engineer - Portage, MI
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Geological Engineering.
5 to 10 years’ experience in earthwork design and construction oversight; knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting or monitoring a plus.
Experience with materials field testing, with certification, as appropriate (e.g., nuclear densometer testing).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
Self-disciplined/motivated individual who also works well in a team environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and advance towards project management.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Michigan preferred; minim Engineer-in-Training required with ability to get PE within 1 – 2 years.
Experience with field topographic surveying is a plus.
Existing OSHA HAZWOPER Training certification is a plus.
