Family Planning Expert, YCLE
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as medicine, public health/community health/global health, or social sciences required. Clinical master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum seven years of experience in managing and/or implementing integrated health delivery or technical assistance programming addressing family planning, and reproductive health required.
- Experience with research, monitoring, and evaluation in the health sector.
- Experience working with a USG-funded health program is desired.
- Experience with health-related assessment tool development is a plus.
- Experience in conducting training is desired.
- Understanding of ethical challenges of family planning interventions.
- Understanding and knowledge in gender equality and human rights frameworks relative to family planning and reproductive health.
- Knowledge in international family planning and reproductive health guidelines and familiarity with donor plans and compliance parameters with specific FP requirement, preferably USAID.
- Strong knowledge in the provision of family planning services in crisis situations involving vulnerable groups, internally displaced women.
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and oral presentation skills are required.
- Strong command in English is required. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
