Facilities Coordinator/Technologist
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in an industrial/commercial environment with “hands-on” works as a technologist or associated degree
- Certificate in a related post-secondary program (Building Systems, Mechanical Technologist, etc
- Previous experience in facilities management/maintenance, building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical
- Exposure to and knowledge of applicable legislative and compliance regulations including; Occupational Health and Safety Act, Fire Code and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
- Experience working with vendors on regular maintenance contracts
- General building (commercial or residential) and construction experience
- Experience on an industrial worksite and/or a research laboratory
- Fabrication and/or machining experience (hand tools, machine tools, welding, etc.
- Forklift, counterbalance, reach truck and scissor lift experience
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lb
- Proficient with computers and the MS Office environment
- Excellent written and communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English
- Service-oriented
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
