The Opportunity

Tetra Tech is looking for a full-time Equipment Maintenance Technician. This position is based out of our Glen Mills, PA office, working for a client in nearby Linwood, PA.

Relocation assistance may be available to the chosen candidate.


Essential Job Functions

The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:

  • Maintaining, repairing, and tracking environmental field equipment of the type that is used to respond to incidents involving hazardous substances and oil.
  • Arranging for preventative maintenance on generators, UTVs, trailers, and large mobile command post vehicles.

    Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of job-related experience. Experience must include equipment management, supply inventory, and customer service.

Proficiency in entering/ tracking equipment and supplies, including general use of equipment tracking databases.

This position requires driving on a regular basis. Passing a motor vehicle record background check and maintaining a valid driver's license and good standing is required.

As a condition of employment, the candidate must complete and clear a background check.


Physical Requirements

Must be able to carry up to 25 pounds of equipment.


Work Environment / Environmental Factors

Work is primarily based out of government-owned facility in Delaware County, PA.


Additional Information

Work schedule is weekdays, 8am – 5pm. Occasional overtime may be required

Occasional delivery of equipment to job sites across PA, WV, MD, and VA required.  All travel performed in company-provided fleet vehicle with expenses reimbursable.

Monthly travel between Delaware County, PA warehouse and locations in Ft. Meade, VA, and Wheeling, WV is required.
