Environmental Technical Specialist
Qualifications:

Candidate will also be required to provide support of environmental sampling and analysis; Environmental Management System (EMS) reviews, updates, and recordkeeping; and solid waste minimization activities.
- Knowledge of the United States Air Force and other DoD organizations.
- Experience with HM Management—such as SDSs and inventory validation processes, EPCRA Reporting, and EESOH-MIS implementation and management, EMS, Solid Waste, and Water Quality.
- Familiar with AFI 32-7086, AFMAN 32-7002, and other relevant DoD/AF environmental policies and guidance documents.
- Sampling, field work, using measuring instruments, data analyses and reporting.
- Must be able to obtain a government security clearance and pass background check.
- Some local travel may be required; must have reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of U.S. Air Force safety, health, security, and environmental policies and procedures a plus.
- Current military identification or Common Access Card holder preferred.
Education and Experience:
Respective AF training courses or similar.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
No college degree required but preferred.
