Qualifications:
• A MS degree in biology, wildlife or natural resources
OR
• A BS degree in biology, wildlife or natural resources with one to three years of experience;
• A strong background in environmental impact assessment, permitting, ecological field studies, and planning;
• Familiarity with the use of Global Positioning System to navigate and survey areas;
• Basic skills in field identification of vegetation and wildlife;
• Specialized expertise may be in environmental, terrestrial, wetland, or wildlife sciences;
• Must have demonstrated ability in field data collection and analysis, technical writing; GIS skills helpful;
• Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills is a must; and
• Professional and team-oriented work environment.
