Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Geologist – Denver, CO - Part-Time
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Natural Resources, Hydrogeology or engineering disciplines is required
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in excellent standing within the company standards
Candidate must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.
Completion of 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher training are preferred
Candidates must be highly motivated, self-starters that want to establish a career in environmental consulting
Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience with hazardous materials, sampling of environmental media (soil, groundwater, air, etc.), environmental consulting or related activities
Other Desirable Knowledge and Requirement:
Candidates should be fluent in the English language and possess excellent verbal/written communication skills
Candidates must be able to professionally interact with clients, subcontractors, professionals and the general public
Applicants should possess the ability to perform mathematical calculations
Candidate must have the ability to work well in a professional and team-oriented environment, as well as independently
Candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent leadership skills, and be client focused
Must possess basic computer skills; the computer skills must include proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel. Experience with ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD a plus
