Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Natural Resources, Hydrogeology or engineering disciplines is required

  • Candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in excellent standing within the company standards

  • Candidate must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.

  • Completion of 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher training are preferred

  • Candidates must be highly motivated, self-starters that want to establish a career in environmental consulting

  • Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience with hazardous materials, sampling of environmental media (soil, groundwater, air, etc.), environmental consulting or related activities

 

Other Desirable Knowledge and Requirement:

  • Candidates should be fluent in the English language and possess excellent verbal/written communication skills

  • Candidates must be able to professionally interact with clients, subcontractors, professionals and the general public

  • Applicants should possess the ability to perform mathematical calculations

  • Candidate must have the ability to work well in a professional and team-oriented environment, as well as independently

  • Candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent leadership skills, and be client focused

  • Must possess basic computer skills; the computer skills must include proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel. Experience with ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD a plus
