Environment and Natural Resources Associate (US-based Remote)
Qualifications:
*Minimum of master’s degree in water resources management, natural resource management, environmental sciences, ecology, resource economics, sociology/anthropology, or another related field;
*Minimum of four years of professional experience required, with strong client, supervisor, and peer recommendations;
*Minimum of two years of experience in project management support and/or technical assistance programming in developing and transitioning countries. While experience backstopping projects with intermittent overseas travel is acceptable, experience living and working overseas in a cross-cultural context is preferred;
*Demonstrated excellence and qualifications in ecosystem management or climate change adaptation (e.g., watershed management, forestry, biodiversity conservation, geography, community based natural resources management, anthropology/sociology, property rights, human rights, resource economics, environmental compliance and management);
*Strong knowledge of international donor projects required; USAID donor project experience preferred;
*Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural teams - in the Home Office and the field - with strong written, oral, and presentation skills;
*Experience managing project work plans, reporting and budgeting in developing countries preferred;
*Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written deliverables, with prior successful experience writing complex technical proposals preferred;
*Fluency in English required, advanced French proficiency preferred;
*This position requires frequent international travel (20% - 30%);
*U.S. work authorization required.

Pay Transparency Statement:
We are committed to taking a thoughtful, compliant, and equitable approach to employment compensation. The anticipated pay range for this position is $63,000 to $90,000 USD annually.
