Entry Level Environmental Scientist / Biologist - Houston, TX

Qualifications:

• A BS degree in biology, environmental fields, wildlife or natural resources.
• Zero to three years of experience. 
• A strong background in environmental assessment, sampling, permitting, ecological field studies, and planning is preferred. 
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Earth/ArcGIS Online applications required.
• Must demonstrated ability in field data collection and analysis, and technical writing.  
• Experience in environmental consulting or related experience preferred. 
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (TX) preferred. 
• Candidate must be able and available to travel via land and/or air. 
• Work will be split between the Houston, TX office and field. Field work will primarily be in Texas and overnight travel is required. 
• Some heavy lifting required, and the ability to walk/stand/sit for extended periods in areas of varied and uneven terrain are essential.
• A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
