Engineer
Tetra Tech is looking for you to bring your expertise on a part time basis to provide subject matter expertise and direction to auditing and design teams for complex utility systems and follow-on and/or related contracts (turnkey technology design, life cycle operations and maintenance services, oversight on construction, resilience strategies, decarbonization/fuel conversion), for clients such as universities, municipal assets, and other government campuses. Serve as customer engagement lead, facilitating and directing collaboration with customers to ensure best value solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Your Role:
• Participate in initiating customer engagement on Task Orders
• Participate in and/or direct team members on auditing/assessment
• Lead/Assist in developing audit/assessment plans, scopes of work
• Record and compile data into coherent products for customer use, interpret and explain findings to project teams.
• Prepare and assist preparation of written documents, assessment and development plans, data summary reports, and technical evaluations.
• Complete other duties as they may be assigned to support utility assessment and resilience projects.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Engineering
Additional and/or advanced degrees in Biology, Geology, Earth Science, Geography, Chemistry, or Environmental Science are a plus.
• A minimum of ten years of work experience in the scientific, engineering, environmental consulting, contracting, or related industry is required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret and develop both written technical documents and tabular presentation of data is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook is required.
• Experience or training in Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Controls Systems, building controls, and utility plant systems is desired.
