Energy Sector Senior Associate/Electric Utility Delivery Technical Specialist - Hybrid or Remote
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of grid modernization challenges, including consideration of underlying electrical engineering of transmission and distribution systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- One year of utility sector working experience in North America
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English
- Track record of solving analytical problems, using a systematic and logical approach, with clear outcomes
- Willingness to travel across North America and from time to time internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in technology and data driven analysis, with demonstrable skills in data visualization and presentation.
- M.Sc., M.S., MBA, or comparable graduate degrees
- Knowledge of at least one electric utility process area, for example asset management, planning and engineering, outage management, vegetation management
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Self-starter, working effectively under tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and prioritize tasks based on business objectives
- Proven interpersonal skills to communicate highly technical analytics products and insights to target audience
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies
- Knowledge or familiarity with languages such as Arabic, French, or Spanish is a plus
