Energy Sector Manager – India
Minimum Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in engineering, technology, finance, charted accounting, or a similar field with a post graduate degree in business, public policy, economics, or a similar field from recognized premier educational institution(s).
- 8 years of progressive consulting experience in the energy sector, preferably with experience of working with a variety of clients, to include MDBs and donors.
- Demonstrable understanding of the power sector value chain and emerging development in the sector (e.g., power market evolution, energy regulations, energy transition, climate change, emerging technologies, etc.).
- Proficiency in electricity tariff methodology, structure and tariff setting process.
- Capability in financial modelling and analysis, bid advisory, and techno-commercial due diligence of power projects.
- Demonstrable experience in generating ideas / proposals and converting them into actionable commercial engagements.
- Proven ability to nimbly move between widely varying functions—analytical to creative, strategy to execution.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally to project locations and conferences.
