Energy Analyst/Associate - Hybrid or Remote
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, data science, or another related field
- 0 - 3 years of consulting and/or utility working experience in North America
- Track record of solving analytical problems, using a systematic and logical approach, with clear outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and prioritize tasks based on business objectives.
- Technical skills to support product development - SQL, Python, R, or JavaScript
- Experience using visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of grid modernization challenges.
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
- Willingness to travel across North America and from time to time internationally.
- Self-starter, working effectively under tight deadlines, and strong organizational and teamwork skills. MBA or comparable graduate degree.
- Knowledge of at least one electric utility processes area, for example asset management, planning and engineering, outage management, vegetation management
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies
- Knowledge or familiarity with French
- Experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in the cloud, preferably with one or more providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)
- Experience with data engineering, architecture, modeling, and practical experience with DevOps and MLOps
