Glumac is creating a new position for an Employee Experience Manager to focus on staff retention, engagement, recruiting, and the remote work experience. The employee experience is the sum of everything an employee experiences throughout their connection to the organization, from recruitment, to onboarding and service. As a valued member of the team, the Employee Experience Manager will support Glumac’s efforts to build an inclusive, engaged, and informed workforce. The Employee Experience Manager will report directly to the President and will specialize in creating and maintaining a positive, rewarding work environment. The goal is to develop an organization that attracts and retains talented employees. They will also focus on ensuring employees feel valued and invested in their work. The primary objective of this role will be improving employee retention, the recruitment experience, introducing programs to support employee satisfaction and the team’s overall experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the current employee experience, engagement, recruiting and retention tools and strategy and providing recommendations to improve the existing framework, for future success.

Job Duties:

  • To help create metrics to provide a memorable, positive employee experience at all phases of the employee lifecycle to promote retention and satisfaction.
  • Evaluate current Glumac employee engagement, experience, recruiting and retention plan and develop programs to support the overall culture and experience.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, Operations and Human Resources.
  • Review and improve the talent management process in partnership with Human Resources and Operations.
  • Drive a diverse, equitable, and belonging mindset throughout Glumac.
  • Create messaging through branding, social media and other resources to promote Glumac culture and attract qualified talent.
  • Develop engagement plan for remote workforce across all offices/regions.
  • Lead the effort to address and help resolve remote work challenges (e.g. physical and mental health burdens detachment, miscommunications, burnout, etc.)
  • Lead return-to-work efforts and communication
  • Develop a disciplined, multi-modal communication system that includes: E newsletter,                                
  • All Hands Meetings, Social Events, Mobile App, Website, In-Person Events (when able).
  • Plan and execute employee recognition activities which further Glumac’s commitment to our core values, and diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Develop community, university and industry outreach and relations
  • Leverage a data-driven approach to employee experience and engagement, consistently seeking and sharing innovative ideas and opportunities for improvement and collect and provide benchmarks and statistical data to measure success.

Requirements:

  • Must have 8-15 years of related experience and a background in Human Resources, specializing in employee relations, organizational development, and engagement.
  • Flexible for related experience based on ability to execute a program.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, organizational development, learning and development or another related field.
  • Master’s degree in a related area is a plus.
  • Work experience directly related to retention and engagement.
  • The ideal candidate understands and embraces customer service.
  • Proven record of building productive working relationships with all employees and building on those relationships to meet our business goals.
  • Must be a self-starter with experience in frontline operations and the ability to support and assist all,
  • Reliability a must
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience writing and creating Employee Value Propositions and employee messaging which instills our culture of support and recognition.
  • Prior experience creating an employee experience in a virtual work environment.
  • Experience in social media, branding and marketing for recruitment
  • A clear impact/results orientation and ability to set dynamic, compelling goals, ensure
  • Clear accountabilities and align the organization to deliver on commitments
  • Comfortable leading several projects simultaneously with a structured approach and pivoting in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Prior experience working with remote team members and partners
  • Proficiency with Google Drive Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
