East Africa Regional Lead Advisor, Power Africa Off-Grid Project (PAOP)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  
• A degree in an area related to the scope of work (international development, engineering, economics or other relevant fields)
  
• Strong understanding of the off-grid market dynamics in the East Africa Region
  
• Strong demonstrated experience in administrative management and the capacity to manage and motivate local and international staff
  
• Experience with the policies and procedures of USAID
  
• Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing
  
• Ability to work independently
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Working-level fluency in English
