Your Role:
We are currently seeking a Document Controller/Project Administrator for our Pickering, ON office. This posting is for an existing vacancy for which we are actively recruiting. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required by the position.
Responsibilities:
- Project Administration
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineers to understand the project schedule and client deliverables
- Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks: logging Lessons Learned and reviews in internal and client applications, preparing meeting materials, editing/proofreading project documents, etc.
- Assist project staff with deliverable formatting and submissions.
Distributing internal and external meeting minutes.
Document Control & Quality Checks
- Maintains and updates electronic filing tracking system; quality checks documents (drawings, reports, and calculations) for completeness and conformances to established standards.
- Provides routine document control support, including assisting others and resolving and/or referring document issues and inquiries.
- Confer with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents.
- Ensure documents are stored in the proper locations and align with required filing practices.
· Organizes workflow to ensure documents and submission packages are completed and issued on time in advance of client due dates.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of Administrative and/or Document Control experience in an engineering consulting environment is considered an asset.
· Must be able to obtain or already has security clearance
· Must have experience in Microsoft Office including expert knowledge in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
MS Office and Computer skills with respect to technical analysis will set you apart from your peer group
· Experience with VenDM is considered an asset
· Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal; strong listening skills
· Ability to follow detailed directions in a fast-paced environment, taking requests from many people at varying levels of authority.
· Effective problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
The expected annual compensation range for this position is $55,000-$70,000 annually. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining compensation, including but not limited to education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
Additional Information
A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)

Some Tetra Tech positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law.
