Director of Communications for WAVE Activity
Qualifications:
* University degree in communications or another relevant field (advanced degree preferred);
* Minimum ten (10) years’ experience implementing knowledge management and communications activities for donor-funded projects; experience with USG-funded programs preferred;
* Experience developing and delivering effective communications and outreach efforts and highlighting project successes for local, regional and global audiences;
* Excellent English writing skills;
* Demonstrated ability to manage effective knowledge exchange and communication at regional, national, and local levels among diverse populations and the Activity’s partners and counterparts across sectors (government, private sector including media, academic community, and civil society);
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and
* Native or Bilingual Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Russian is a plus.
