Responsibilities:

As a preferred candidate for this Desktop Engineer role, you will leverage extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Office 365 products to implement robust modern management solutions. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing comprehensive Intune policies for device configuration, compliance, and security while ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft 365 services and Entra ID environments. Additionally, you will provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues across the Microsoft 365 services, manage application deployments for Win32 and Microsoft Store apps. You will also create and maintain knowledge base documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges, validate software patches and updates, and utilize tools like ServiceNow and RALLY for asset and workflow management.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience administering Microsoft Intune, Entra or Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
• Create and manage Intune policies for device configuration, device compliance, and security configurations. Ensure seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 services.
• Customize and manage Windows OS builds, including branding, provisioning logic, and seamless integration with Autopilot and Azure Active Directory environments.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex issues across Intune, MECM, Office 365 (O365) services and applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive for Business, ensuring timely root cause analysis and resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD, conditional access, Autopilot, and device compliance/configuration frameworks.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Experience with Operating systems, Windows 10/11 at a minimum.

• Proficiency in PowerShell or scripting for automation and deployment tasks.
• Familiarity with DoD or federal security standards (DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, RMF) is highly preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator), MS-900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals), or equivalent.
• COTS and GOTS applications and how they may interact with the workstation operating system. (i.e. Adobe, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPO management, and TPM security.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, including BSOD and hardware/software conflicts.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments and remediation strategies.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and modern endpoint management strategies.
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and KB articles.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid advanced technical troubleshooting skills as it relates to the workstation environment
