Deputy Chief of Party, USAID/Somalia Monitoring Learning Project-2
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. Master’s degree is highly desirable.
- Minimum five years of supervisory experience managing staff and/or subcontractors working on MEAL projects, including TPM is required.
- Minimum seven years of experience related to MEAL, including four years of field-based experience is preferred.
- Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative field research in a complex emergency setting.
- Familiarity with issues related to the implementation of humanitarian assistance activities for refugees and IDPs, food aid, and multi-sector humanitarian assistance in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Familiarity with the operations of BHA-funded programs in Somalia is highly desirable.
- Experience overseeing quality control on TPM and analytical work products.
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
