Deputy Chief of Party Technical for USAID Human Rights for Peace Activity
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
* Minimum bachelor's degree or higher in social sciences, human rights, political science, or related field. Master's degree strongly preferred;
* Minimum ten (10) years of experience working on human rights, peacebuilding, democracy, governance, etc. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of human rights issues;
* Exceptional managerial skills and demonstrated experience in managing technical direction of donor-funded projects of similar size and scope; USAID/USG experience preferred;
* Experience working with senior government officials and building consensus among diverse actors;
* Demonstrated ability to develop and manage programs, including sustaining partnerships and strong working relationships with civil society consortium partners, donors, host country government counterparts, academic institutions, civil society, and the private sector;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and communicate one's vision to partners and colleagues;
* Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is required. Writing skills in English required for reporting and monitoring purposes; and
