Damage Assessor
Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years of residential properties estimating experience
- Two (2) years’ experience utilizing Xactimate software and Certification is preferred
- Knowledge of Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and building codes/standards
- Must possess the capability to precisely sketch a floor plan using Xactimate during a real-time interview scenario
- Ability to accurately scope, sketch and enter all variables and line items into Xactimate
- Ability to access and inspect all areas of a subject home
- Flexibility for quick mobilization to travel to affected areas
- Strong analytical abilities and customer service focus
- A self-starter mentality and experience taking ownership of projects with limited direction
- Ability to thrive in a low-ego, highly collaborative work environment
- Excellent time management and organization skills, as well as the ability to execute multiple projects with overlapping timelines
- Candidate must be in good physical condition, able to carry up to 35 lbs. while walking and possibly hiking, bend, lift relatively heavy loads, and tolerate some weather extremes (heat and cold)
- Written Spanish and English proficiency
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Online, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat preferred
