Summary: 

We currently have an opening for a Contracts Administrator to support our Global Services Design Team. The location of this position is flexible for the right candidate. Our core business hubs are in Marlborough, MA and Manchester, NH.

Tetra Tech provides architecture and engineering services in supporting our international development and department of defense clients.  Our engineers and architects deliver facility and utility planning, design, and construction phase services around the world, including remote locations. From buildings and utilities to airfield and waterfront facilities, Tetra Tech’s multidisciplinary expertise spans the full range of military installation projects.

International development projects have included feasibility studies, design, retrofitting, and construction of housing for displaced populations, roads, energy solutions, health care facilities, grade schools and universities, water and wastewater infrastructure, wastewater reuse, and disaster relief services. 

Your Role: 

  • Draft and implement internal and external subcontract agreements as part of the project management team; address on-going issues and change management; ensure appropriate contract close-out
  • Prepare and disseminate information internally regarding contract status, compliance, and modifications; maintain contract databases and all electronic and hard-copy files
  • Update external reporting systems as necessary (eSRS, FSRS, CMRA, etc.)
  • Answer contracts and compliance questions from the project and proposal teams
  • Interact with technical counterparts, finance, proposal team, and senior management to resolve issues and evaluate and mitigate risks
  • Provide advice on complex requirements of Requests for Proposals (RFP), contracts, and subcontracts, and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met while identifying areas of risk 
  • Research and make recommendations on contract language; participate in business capture discussions to ensure understanding of RFP/Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitations
  • Provides advice on application of conditions, remedies, indemnities, liabilities, and contract terms
  • Develop into a subject matter expert on international contracts and subcontract agreements
  • Maintain an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on international contracts, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)
  • Conduct contract reviews and risk analyses; assist with preparation of technical proposals; administer correspondence, sole-source justifications, and other supporting contractual documents and work with our pricing and compliance manger for price reasonableness analyses. 

Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, in Business Management or related field is required
  • 4 years relevant experience is required
  • CCMA certification is prefered
  • CPCM or CFCM certification is preferred
  • Understanding of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) principles, terms and conditions
  • Experience working in contracts or government compliance on USAID programs
  • Basic understanding of US Government Agency procurement regulations, policies, and practices including the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR)
  • Excellent writing, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
  • Applicant must be able to work both independently and, in a team, environment
  • Due to the clients we serve this position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence Card
  • Must be able to pass background screening including criminal history, credit check etc. 

Additional Information: 

You may be required drive on an occasional basis for business purposes, to do this, you will need a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check, and maintain a safe driving record.
