Your Role :
Your role will be as a Contracts & Risk Specialist that performs contract reviews of commercial, Federal, State, and Local contracts. Perform risk management reviews in accordance with Tetra Tech policies and procedures. Provide written and verbal contract review guidance, feedback, and direction to project managers, engineers, scientists, finance and accounting, management, and administrative professionals. Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Perform multi-stakeholder contract-based risk analysis for business operations
• Read, review, mark-up, and negotiate contract with external clients and partners.
• Perform contract project risk analysis by reviewing contract terms, financial project metrics, and operational contract and performance guidelines.
• Ensure 100% compliance with contract and risk review policies, procedures, and department best practices, as instructed by supervisor, and as available for internal company policies.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Additional duties as required and as approved or assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications :
• Required education is Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, industrial science, engineering, contract management, or business management.
• Required experience is 15-20+ years of experience in a professional business organization with increasing levels of responsibility and autonomy in responsibilities, duties, and work execution.
• Required experience in direct review and management experience with Federal, State and Local contract in a complex business organization.
• Required experience in direct review and management experience with Commercial contracts in a complex business organization.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately up to 25% for on-demand flex requirements, but expected travel is less than 10%.
• Prefer experience with information and technology systems for adoption of organizational platforms utilizing ML/Ai, cybersecurity operations, and software development implementation programs.
• Prefer experience managing large, complex data systems, interpreting results for business operations optimization.
This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.
