Design and Production
As a Design and Production Consultant, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality graphics, formatted reports, and printed materials while adhering to our established standards for presentation and readability. Additionally, you will provide essential administrative support to our marketing and communications unit.
Key responsibilities
- Design and produce impactful visuals, including infographics, brochures, factsheets, and posters, utilising the Adobe Creative Suite
- Assist in the print production of large-scale collateral, such as pull-up banners, wall decals, and office signage, including coordination with external printers to ensure specifications are met
- Contribute to the design and layout of website pages
- Maintain project websites using WordPress
- Provide high-quality and efficient support for Word formatting
- Develop and maintain templates for Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Manage time effectively across multiple projects, balancing both large and small tasks
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Markets, Clients and Strategy, Human Resources, Project Delivery Teams, and Operations
Selection criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in graphic design or equivalent course
- Desirable - 3+ years graphic design experience in an in-house or agency design role
- Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (Knowledge of Premier Pro desirable)
- Competent formatting skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook (Knowledge of Excel desirable)
- Image digitalising and manipulation for print and web
- A strong understanding of digital production/design/printing techniques
- Familiarity with general office procedures (knowledge in Sharepoint and Atlassian desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
