Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of communications experience
  • Experience implementing communications campaigns that involve multiple and diverse audiences.
  • Ability to think, write, and present content in a creative and compelling manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to summarize and distill large amounts of technical data and information to concise communication deliverables. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing content across digital, print, and social media channels.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with a global team, working across time zones and cultures.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure, perform numerous tasks simultaneously, and adapt to clients’ changing priorities. 
  • Motivated and energetic self-starter with a positive, inclusive, and creative outlook
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing and presentation skills)

Valued Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with and skill in improving the design/layout of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word documents, PowerPoint presentations) and Google Docs and Google Slides
  • Experience working in international development, energy, and/or environment sectors.
  • Experience working on USAID programs and initiatives, or other government- or donor-funded projects.
  • Strong planning, management, and execution skills

Line management responsibility: 

  • No direct reports

Physical demands & work environment: 

  • International travel may be required.
