Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency Specialist - Bangladesh
Essential KSAs required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
- Masters’ degree (or equivalent) in engineering, energy policy, management, planning or related fields with 5+ years OR Bachelors’ degree (or equivalent) with 7+ years of progressive experience working on energy sector.
- A deep understanding of, and experience working in, Bangladesh’s power sector.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with government officials and other essential power sector stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively to build consensus and lead various energy sector stakeholders and/or project team members towards a common goal on adaptation of advanced energy technologies.
- Knowledge and/or understanding of clean energy technologies, energy markets, energy policies, and adaptation of end-used efficient technologies.
- Familiarity with current Bangladesh government regulations and incentives in renewable energy, energy efficiency and other advanced energy systems.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and oral presentation) and preferably in Bangla.
