Civil/Structural Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely aligned degree.

• Master’s degree in civil engineering a plus.

• 5-7 years’ minimum experience within the civil or structural engineering field.

• Experienced in concrete and steel design, transportation design, stormwater management, site design, erosion and sediment control.

• Must be proficient and lead basic engineering and mathematical concepts and principles. 

• Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects including structural, geotechnical and/or marine engineering with working knowledge of database programs, GIS, and CAD.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required (2011 - 2018).

• Ability to draft detailed reports, business correspondence, and procedures for project managers and engineering staff. 

• Ability to effectively present information, communicate, and respond to questions from groups of coworkers, clients, customers, and the general public. 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project).

• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and construction specifications, plans.

• In-depth knowledge civil engineering disciplines.

• In-depth knowledge of HEC-RAS, Hydraulic modeling software.

Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience

Salary Range: $75,00 - $125,000 a year
