Civil Engineering Technologist - Grande Prairie, AB
· Minimum of a Diploma from a technical institute in Civil Engineering or Civil Technology
· 5 to 15 years materials testing experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in concrete and soil testing
· Previous experience working in engineering consulting would be considered an asset
· Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License and must provide current drivers abstract when applying, preference will be given to candidates with a clean driving record
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to properly document sampling and testing information in an accurate and timely fashion
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and listening skills
· Good time management skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision and the ability to contribute to the Practice by being a team player
· Must be willing to travel and work in a field setting away from headquarters
· CSA approved Steel Toed Safety Boots required
· Be physically capable of performing the manual labour duties required
