We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer or CAD Professional to join our growing team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Whether your expertise lies in engineering design or CAD drafting, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most dynamic port, harbor, marina, and waterfront infrastructure projects. Your role will play a key part in creating and producing technical specifications and construction documents that will help shape the future of coastal development.
As a Civil Engineer, your primary focus will be:
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and engineers throughout project life cycle, from conceptional designs to technical specifications and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with managers to follow industry standards and implement best practices to ensure project success.
- Guarantee timely completion of projects, maintaining adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Occasionally travel to project sites as needed to ensure quality and alignment with goals.
To be a successful Civil Engineer, you’ll need to have:
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (degrees in coastal engineering or ocean engineering are also welcome) or an associate degree in computer aided design (or related field)
- 5+ years of professional experience with a focus on creating construction documents. Your experience should demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other industry leading software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, or MicroStation.
- A proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining commitment to deadlines and project schedules.
- Experience with technical specifications and permitting processes is a plus.
- A solid work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high quality results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish, and the ability to craft clear, concise reports, correspondence, and recommendations.
