We are currently looking for an Certified Industrial Hygienist to join our growing team in our Ann Arbor, MI location. 


  • Expand breadth of services to existing clients.
  • Develop new clients for IH services.
  • Help lead IEW Health and Safety Programs for Industrial, Commercial, and Federal clients.
  • Develop, deploy and track key performance indicators
  • Serve as a Program CIH on major Federal contracts.
  • Develop and/or conduct training courses for job site staff and offices and supervise the maintenance of appropriate records.
  • Oversee and participate as leader in the Incident Investigation process
  • Oversee the use and maintenance of monitoring equipment.
  • Able to prepare and/or review Accident Prevention Plans, Site Health and Safety Plans, Air Monitoring Plans, Job Safety Analyses, and other safety related plans as required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 and other Federal and Commercial clients.
  • Contribute to the development of Environmental, Safety, and Quality (ESQ) policies and procedures and coordinate their implementation.
  • Develop or assist in the development of ESQ Program input for proposals including cost estimates.
  • Remain current with developments in and the interpretation of OSHA regulations and standards and assist with regulatory inquiries and investigations.
  • Up to 50% of work may be performed at project sites throughout the United States.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or other Science) or Engineering.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) American Board of Industrial Hygiene is required. 
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification, preferred.
  • 10+ years of industrial, construction, hazardous waste, consulting experience.
