Tetra Tech Inc. is currently seeking a Case Manager located in Harris County. This position will provide technical guidance, strategic direction and management services during the implementation of case management services.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Direct intake period and assist applicants in completing their files for eligibility;
• Assist  applicants through pre-offer and buyout process;
• Actively ensure quality case files and client interactions;
• Maintain applicant data for all  programs, daily review and quality control of incoming data;
• Produce and present weekly reports for client review;
• Prepare a written recommendation on the received applications;
• Coordinate with local agencies and non-profit groups for information use to verify case files;
• Meet with prospective applicants to describe the  programs, review applicable required materials and provide technical assistance;
• Review submitted applications for compliance with the program guidelines and policies;
• Conduct eligibility calculations and duplication of benefit reviews;
• Maintain final applicant folders and applicant data;
• Evaluate issues and work with the Assistant Program Manager and develop proposed solutions;
• Travel throughout the City and visit sites of proposed projects;
• Other duties, as assigned.

● Ensure a positive and non-hostile work environment exist at all project sites.
● Maintain knowledge of federal grant programs in order to interact with clients (grantees and sub-grantees), federal agency representatives, peers, managers and project staff 


The selected candidate will preferable have experience in post-disaster grant and case management programs. This specifically includes federally funded program management and administration.


The ideal candidate should have the following:

● High attention to detail and experience with data tracking and monitoring
● PC, Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required (specifically strong Excel skills)
● Ability to learn project-specific computer systems as needed (specifically SharePoint and proprietary computer systems).
● Individuals in this position are expected to maintain a professional demeanor, have strong analytical skills, excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively interact with individuals from various cultures and backgrounds. Individuals in this position must also have the ability to work independently, as well as within teams of consultants.
