Capacity Building & Training Specialist for Forest PLUS 3.0
Qualifications:
* Post-graduate degree in a relevant field, such as forestry, agriculture, rural development or other natural resource management (NRM) and development related discipline.
* Minimum of 8 years’ relevant professional experience in NRM capacity building and training.
* Demonstrated experience implementing NRM training activities with local and national organizations required. Experience with State Forest Departments preferred.
* Demonstrated institutional capacity building and training skills at community and national levels.
* Demonstrated understanding and experience of using technology to achieve capacity building objectives.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels and functions within the company.
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
* Willing to regularly visit project states.
* Must also be able to foster supportive working relationship among all staff.
* Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office package, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.
* Highly organized individual able to pay close attention to detail.
* Ability to work as a member of a team of professionals in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
