In Zambia, Tetra Tech has an established track record of delivering impactful programmes across economic transformation, agricultural value chains, climate and nature policy, energy and private sector development and governance. Our teams work side by side with Zambian public and private sector partners to strengthen systems, build local capacity and promote sustainable, inclusive development that improves livelihoods, resilience and governance. 

Upcoming opportunities

We are seeking to engage committed and qualified professionals for up-coming development programmes to support impactful and inclusive development in Zambia. We welcome applications from early/mid/senior/director level experts with relevant advisory, technical, operational or managerial experience. Previous experience of working on FCDO-funded programmes is highly regarded but not essential.
We look forward to hearing from experts in one or more of the following disciplines:

  • economic transformation
  • SME and private sector development
  • business enabling environment
  • tax policy and financial regulation
  • governance and policy reform
  • nature, climate, environment and green growth
  • supply chains and agricultural value chains
  • mining, construction and/or tourism
  • investment facilitation and transactions

In addition, we are looking for expertise in cross-cutting themes and issues including:

  • monitoring, evaluation, research and learning
  • gender and social inclusion
  • political economy analysis
  • convening and coalition building
  • digital solutions
  • finance, administration and marketing
  • operations, programme and grant fund management

In your application, please clearly state types of roles you are interested in (for example, team leadership; operational management; M&E expert; climate finance advisory etc) and whether you are interested in short and/or long-term opportunities. You can note this at the top of your CV.

About You

  • Relevant professional experience in the stated field / sector 
  • Experience of working in Zambia and/or regionally
  • Experience with donor-funded projects is an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skill
