Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications/marketing, economics, engineering, english, finance, international development, political science, or other related field.  
  • A minimum of four (4) years' relevant work experience in business development.  
  • Familiarity with tender requirements for various European clients, e.g., EIB, EBRD, EU, KfW, etc. 
  • Ability to manage a proposal team comprising of 10-30 individuals (internal and external resources). 
  • Proven strong analytical and organizational skills, including ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment, and plan and prioritize activities with precision and attention to detail. 
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to guide a large proposal team through submission. 
  • Ability to format and deliver client-ready proposals and presentations without support from others. 
  • Computer proficiency in using content management systems (e.g., Egnyte, OneDrive), Adobe PDF, and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required.  
  • Legal permit to work in Europe. 
  • Fluency in English

Valued but not required qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in business, communications/marketing, economics, engineering, finance, international development, or other related field.  
  • Experience working in the energy consulting within the context of international development and/or public/private sector clients 
  • Experience in managing budget requests for a price proposal including subcontractor negotiation. 
  • Fluency in additional language
