Your Role:

·         Support multidisciplinary engineering teams by developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities throughout project lifecycles.

·         Implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and support project teams in adhering to Tetra Tech BIM standards and client-specific requirements.

·         Coordinate and review 3D models using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microstation and BIM 360, ensuring accurate interdisciplinary integration.

·         Perform clash detection, resolve coordination issues, and support design optimization across structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.

·         Provide mentorship, training, and technical support to internal teams on BIM best practices and tools.

·         Assist with content creation and management of BIM libraries, templates, and automation routines to enhance model efficiency and consistency.

·         Work collaboratively with project managers, design leads, and IT/BIM system administrators to streamline BIM workflows and improve delivery outcomes.

·         Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.

·         Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.

·         Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.

·         Additional duties as required.

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM coordination within engineering consulting or the AEC industry.

·         Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Microstation and BIM 360; knowledge of Civil 3D, Dynamo, or other BIM automation tools is an asset.

·         Strong understanding of multi-discipline coordination and the design process in infrastructure, energy, or utility projects.

·         Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650, AIA E203, and LOD specifications.

·         Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

 

Additional Information

A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada or US. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
