Associate, Sustainable Energy Finance - Norway
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional experience in energy project consulting, energy project financing, or energy market/regulatory advisory preferably gained within a financial institution, accounting, or consulting organization.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Professional experience working in developing or emerging markets, or substantial experience working on assignments related to developing or emerging markets.
- Speak, read, and write fluently in English.
- Strong independent research and data management capabilities, using a variety of primary and secondary sources.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team, with common goals, delivering results.
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and re-prioritize as necessary.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines, both independently and as a team member.
- Ability to produce accurate and complete documents in a timely manner.
- Ability to travel (international field sites) as needed, given reasonable notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Substantial academic qualification, certification, or professional experience in conducting financial analysis of businesses and/or energy projects.
- Knowledge of clean energy/JET technologies and electricity markets.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to be able to use discretion with confidential business matters. Must have excellent listening skills and highly developed sense of responsibility and commitment to customer service.
