Air Force Program Manager – East Region (Remote)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of experience in program/project management with the Air Force is required, including projects that could include environmental, engineering, compliance, operations, and management related areas.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately 5-10%.
• Knowledge of Air Force or other DoD/Federal organizations is required.
• Prior experience working for a federal agency in a leadership role and/or in the consulting industry is desired. Civil servant service or active-duty military experience while engaged in project management related to operations or missions support services is highly desired.
• Professional registration and/or certification is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance is desired.
This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

However, occasionally travel and onsite work may be required, which could require lifting 25 pounds of documents or equipment, traversing uneven terrain during site visits, and standing for long periods of time at public meetings.

This work is principally performed in an office environment, either from a home office or in a Tetra Tech office. However, there are occasional requirements to make site visits to client sites. This requires the ability to perform work in an office environment or outdoors while conducting data gathering site visits, participating in on-site meetings, and attending conferences or other training and business development activities off-site.
Language & Communication Skills:
• Must be fluent in English, writing and speaking.
• Must possess excellent writing capabilities and have experience generating reports suitable for submittal to clients.
• Is expected to make verbal presentations, including corporate qualification short-list interviews with clients and strategic plans to corporate stakeholders.
Other Skills:
Fluency with computer software including knowledge of primary Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS TEAMS and Outlook) is required.
