Administrative Assistant

Your Role:
- Format and proofread reports, proposals, and correspondence to deliver exceptionally accurate documents that comply with corporate standards.
- Create and manipulate PDF documents using features of Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF software to assemble documents and insert links and bookmarks.
- Scan, print, and bind documents.
- File management in coordination with project managers.
- Complete fleet coordinator duties, including collecting gas receipts, tracking mileage, reviewing credit card spreadsheets, and filing all maintenance paperwork.
- Complete expenses and timecards for staff.
- Assist with travel arrangements.
- Provide reception coverage as needed.
- Complete other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Maintain good working relationships with other Administrators.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary certificate/diploma from a recognized office assistant or administrative assistant program preferred; applicants with a high school diploma with applicable administrative experience will also be considered.
- Intermediate experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to remain professional in all situations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and a strong work ethic.
