Qualifications:
- A master’s degree or equivalent related to anti-corruption or public integrity discipline,
such as social sciences, behavioral sciences, law, international development, public policy,
community development, business, international development, or other related field. - Ten (10) years of related work experience in managing donor-supported programming in
anti-corruption/transparency, rule of law, governance, international development, or
related fields. This experience must include working intensively with government actors
and with civil society/ transparency actors on government oversight, transparency, or
related issues. - Demonstrated strong leadership in providing a vision and direction for large rule of law,
anti-corruption, transparency, governance, or related programs, delivering in difficult and
dynamic and rapidly changing environments. Demonstrated strong experience managing and developing staff, sub-contractors, and
consultants to achieve expected results. - Demonstrated record of achieving results supporting the sustainability of oversight,
transparency, governance, accountability, or anti-corruption strategies in the region,
including with local and regional organizations and actors; innovative and experimental
programmatic approaches; and through the use of adaptive strategies to respond to and
take advantage of dynamic and changing circumstances. Preferably this would include
experience in the context of reconstruction. - Demonstrated experience of working with and connecting government actors and non-government actors, including civil society, civic movements, academic experts, and private sector actors to solve problems related to governance, corruption, rule of law, or related issues in the region.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Prior experience working in Ukraine strongly preferred.
- Must be willing to be based in Ukraine.
- Knowledge of the Ukrainian language is preferable.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
